Mixing inputs that matter

  1. Mass in the vial (mg)
  2. Diluent volume (mL of bacteriostatic or sterile water - different products)
  3. Desired dose (usually mcg)
  4. Syringe scale (almost always U-100 for insulin-type syringes)

What mixing does not change

Adding diluent never increases total peptide mass. If someone sells you a chart that implies more water = more doses, the chart is wrong about conservation of mass.
