People searching for peptide injections are looking for very different things: approved injectable drugs, clinic offers, and research chemicals bought online. This page sorts the language so a prescription pathway does not get confused with a grey-market one.

Peptide injections is a high-volume search phrase with mixed intent. Some people mean a prescribed medicine. Others mean a grey-market vial. Treating those as the same topic is how bad advice spreads.

What federal law already settles
A dietary supplement must be intended for ingestion. An injectable marketed as a “peptide supplement” is in the wrong legal box.
Research use only labels do not control if marketing shows the product is intended as a drug for humans. FDA warning letters apply that intended-use analysis to peptide sellers.
Approved injectables vs research chemicals
FDA-approved peptide drugs (including certain GLP-1 medicines) have labelled risks and a legal supply chain. Separately, FDA has warned about unapproved GLP-1 products, counterfeits, and dosing errors.
