Peptide reconstitution chart

Units to draw on a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL) for the most common vial sizes and water volumes, rounded to the nearest half unit. Water changes how many units a dose is, never how many doses the vial holds.

"u" = units on a U-100 syringe. A value in mL means the dose is more than a 1 mL syringe holds. Arithmetic only - not a dose recommendation.

Keep in mind

  • Keep a mixed vial in the fridge at 2-8°C (36-46°F), not the freezer.
  • CDC guidance: date an opened multi-dose vial and discard it within 28 days unless the manufacturer states otherwise.
  • Use a new sterile needle and syringe every time you enter the vial.
