Wolverine Stack (BPC-157 + TB-500): Dosage, Blend Chart, Evidence
Wolverine stack dosage for the 10 mg and 20 mg BPC-157/TB-500 blends and two separate vials, units charts, capsules, and the one animal study of the pair.
The short version
The Wolverine stack is BPC-157 and TB-500, two unapproved research peptides, taken together from one pre-mixed vial or from two separate vials. I found no human trial of the pair. The one animal study found the combination did no better than TB-500 alone. The doses on this page are what dosing sites describe as common practice, not doses any trial has set. Many people use it and report benefits, side effects or no effect.
- I found no human trial of BPC-157 and TB-500 together, at any dose.
- The one animal study found the pair did no better than TB-500 alone.
- Blends come as a 10 mg vial (5 mg of each) or a 20 mg vial (10 mg of each).
- A 1:1 blend gives far less TB-500 than its own common dose, which is why some people use two vials.
- Stacking two unapproved compounds adds their purity and safety unknowns together.
The Wolverine stack is BPC-157 and TB-500 taken together, from one pre-mixed vial or from two separate vials. I found no human trial of the pair, and the one animal study found the combination did no better than TB-500 alone.
The name refers to the comic-book character’s fast healing. For each compound on its own, see the BPC-157 dosage and TB-500 dosage pages and the side-by-side comparison. Peptide stacking covers combinations in general.
US legal status - Research use only
Neither BPC-157 nor TB-500 has an FDA-approved product, an approved indication, or an approved dose, alone or combined.
AU legal status - Not on the ARTG
Schedule 4 (prescription only) under the Poisons Standard, with no registered product on the ARTG for either compound.
Regulators reach their own conclusions on their own timelines. Where these two disagree, the difference is the point - not an error.
Wolverine stack dosage chart
No regulator has set a dose for BPC-157 and TB-500 together, and I found no study that did. The doses below are common practice, not trial-established: they are what dosing sites and this site’s protocol data describe. The stack comes in three forms.
| Form | What’s in it | Commonly mixed with | Commonly described dose |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20 mg blend vial | 10 mg BPC-157 + 10 mg TB-500 | 2 mL bacteriostatic water | 0.5-2 mg of blend a day |
| 10 mg blend vial | 5 mg BPC-157 + 5 mg TB-500 | 2 mL bacteriostatic water | 0.5 mg of blend (10 units) |
| Two separate vials | One vial of each compound | Any volume; the units change with it | BPC-157 250-500 mcg once or twice daily; TB-500 2-2.5 mg twice weekly, then weekly |
The 20 mg blend: 10 mg of each
Peptide Dosing Protocols and The Peptide Catalog describe the same product: one 20 mg vial holding 10 mg of BPC-157 and 10 mg of TB-500. Both mix it with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water. That gives 10 mg/mL of blend, or 5 mg/mL of each peptide.
Peptide Dosing Protocols gives 10 units on a U-100 syringe (1 mg of blend) as its reference dose, within a daily range of 0.5-2 mg. The Peptide Catalog gives 500 mcg of blend a day, drawn as 5 units. PerfectB, an aesthetic clinic, states no vial size. It describes a 5-days-on, 2-days-off schedule, injected at bedtime.
Wolverine stack 20 mg blend (10 mg BPC-157 + 10 mg TB-500)
| Water added | Concentration | 1 unit = | 500 mcg | 1 mg | 2 mg |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 mL water | 10 mg/mL | 100 mcg | 5 units | 10 units | 20 units |
Units on a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL), to the nearest half unit. Peptide Dosing Protocols gives 0.5-2 mg of blend a day for this vial in 2 mL of water; The Peptide Catalog gives 0.5 mg.
Cycles vary by source. Peptide Dosing Protocols describes 6-12 weeks. The Peptide Catalog describes 8 weeks on and 8 weeks off. PerfectB describes up to three one-month cycles back to back, then a 2-month break.
The 10 mg blend: 5 mg of each
The 10 mg vial holds 5 mg of each peptide, not 10 mg of each. Core Peptides lists it as 10 mg (5 mg/5 mg), and NuScience Peptides lists a 5/5 mg size alongside larger ones.
PeptidesExplorer and DosingCalc both mix it with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water. That gives 2,500 mcg/mL of each peptide, so 10 units (0.1 mL) holds 250 mcg of BPC-157 plus 250 mcg of TB-500. Neither gives a frequency or cycle length specific to this vial.
BPC-157/TB-500 10 mg blend (5 mg + 5 mg)
| Water added | Concentration | 1 unit = | 500 mcg |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 mL water | 5 mg/mL | 50 mcg | 10 units |
Units on a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL), to the nearest half unit. 0.5 mg of blend (10 units) is the one dose both dosing sites give for this vial: 250 mcg of each peptide.
Running BPC-157 and TB-500 as two vials
Separate vials let each compound run on its own dose and schedule. These are the common protocols from this site’s protocol data, and both are common practice, not trial-established.
| BPC-157 | TB-500 | |
|---|---|---|
| Dose per injection | 250-500 mcg | 2-2.5 mg |
| How often | Once or twice daily, injected subcutaneously near the injury site when possible | Twice weekly during a 4-6 week loading phase, then once weekly (or every two weeks) for maintenance |
| Cycle | 4-8 weeks | 4-6 week loading phase, then maintenance |
| Break | 2-4 weeks | 4-6 weeks after a full course |
| Common vial | 5 mg | 10 mg |
Two stacking guides describe the same split. PeptIQ mixes a 5 mg vial of each with 2.5 mL of water (2 mg/mL). It runs BPC-157 daily, and TB-500 twice weekly while loading and weekly after. DosingCalc also uses 5 mg vials, with BPC-157 once or twice a day and TB-500 twice a week.
BPC-157 5 mg vial (per injection)
| Water added | Concentration | 1 unit = | 250 mcg | 500 mcg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mL water | 5 mg/mL | 50 mcg | 5 units | 10 units |
| 2 mL water | 2.5 mg/mL | 25 mcg | 10 units | 20 units |
| 3 mL water | 1.67 mg/mL | 16.67 mcg | 15 units | 30 units |
Units on a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL), to the nearest half unit. 250-500 mcg once or twice daily: the common BPC-157 protocol in the table above.
TB-500 10 mg vial (per injection)
| Water added | Concentration | 1 unit = | 2 mg | 2.5 mg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mL water | 10 mg/mL | 100 mcg | 20 units | 25 units |
| 2 mL water | 5 mg/mL | 50 mcg | 40 units | 50 units |
| 3 mL water | 3.33 mg/mL | 33.33 mcg | 60 units | 75 units |
Units on a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL), to the nearest half unit. 2-2.5 mg twice weekly while loading, then once weekly: the common TB-500 protocol in the table above.
To lay out both schedules over a cycle, use the protocol builder. For other vial sizes or water volumes, the peptide calculator gives the units.
BPC-157 and TB-500 capsules (oral)
The pair is also sold as capsules. I found no study of BPC-157 and TB-500 taken together by mouth, and no human study of either one by mouth.
Of the three vendors I check, only BioEdge Research Labs sells the pair as a capsule. As of 3 October 2026 it listed 60 capsules, each holding 500 mcg of BPC-157 and 500 mcg of TB-500, for $149. The page labels them for laboratory research, not for human use. BioEdge also sells BPC-157 alone as arginate-salt capsules. Spartan Peptides and Next Level Pharm sell the pair only as vials.
The TB-500 in that capsule may be the full protein. Its page gives the formula and CAS number of full-length thymosin beta-4, not the 7-amino-acid fragment; the TB-500 guide explains why that matters.
What has been tested by mouth:
- BPC-157, in rats. Given in drinking water, it improved healing of a cut knee ligament Cerovecki 2010 - Cerovecki T, Bojanic I, Brcic L et al. Pentadecapeptide BPC 157 (PL 14736) improves ligament healing in the rat. J Orthop Res. 2010;28(9):1155-61., in the references below and of a quadriceps tendon cut from its muscle Japjec 2021 - Japjec M, Horvat Pavlov K, Petrovic A et al. Stable Gastric Pentadecapeptide BPC 157 as a Therapy for the Disable Myotendinous Junctions in Rats. Biomedicines. 2021;9(11)., in the references below. Injections into the abdomen did the same.
- BPC-157, in people. FDA’s July 2026 review found no published study that gave it by mouth and no human absorption data for any oral form. It found one registered trial of BPC-157 tablets in healthy adults, with no results posted (FDA briefing document).
- TB-500. I found no oral study of the fragment in any species. The only oral study I found gave full-length thymosin beta-4 to mice with colitis Zhao 2026 - Zhao TR, Hu EB, Wang MW et al. Recombinant human Thymosin β4 ameliorates experimental colitis and intestinal fibrosis through suppression of mineralocorticoid receptor signaling. Mol Biomed. 2026;7(1)., in the references below.
So I found nothing showing how much of either peptide a capsule delivers to an injury in a person, or how capsules compare with injections. The rat drinking-water doses don’t convert into a capsule amount. The doses in the charts above are for injection, and I give no capsule dose. Oral vs injectable BPC-157 covers the BPC-157 side in more detail, and oral peptides covers other compounds sold as capsules.
What the research shows
I found no published human trial of BPC-157 combined with TB-500, at any dose. The closest is a retrospective chart review of knee-pain patients: 4 of 17 received “BPC-157+TB4” injections, and 12 received BPC-157 alone Lee 2021 - Lee E, Padgett B. Intra-Articular Injection of BPC 157 for Multiple Types of Knee Pain. Altern Ther Health Med. 2021;27(4):8-13., in the references below. The paper reports no dose for either compound. It also doesn’t say whether “TB4” means the TB-500 fragment or full-length thymosin beta-4, a different molecule covered on the TB-500 guide.
One rat study tested the combination directly Biçer 2026 - Biçer O, Adanir O, Güleryüz Y et al. Effects of BPC-157 and TB-500 on Achilles tendon healing in rats: A histopathological and biomechanical study. Jt Dis Relat Surg. 2026;37(3):822-837., in the references below. After Achilles tendon surgery, 32 rats were split into four groups of 8: no treatment, BPC-157, TB-500, or both. Each got a daily injection into the abdominal cavity (intraperitoneal) for four weeks.
| Group | Daily dose | Result vs. untreated rats |
|---|---|---|
| BPC-157 alone | 10 mcg/kg | Better tissue scores, but not statistically significant |
| TB-500 alone | 60 mcg/kg | Significantly higher load to failure (tendon strength) and better tissue scores |
| BPC-157 + TB-500 | Both doses above | Significantly better tissue scores (Movin score), but no added benefit over TB-500 alone on any measure |
The authors found the combination added nothing over either peptide alone. They suggested the two may act on the same downstream pathway, a hypothesis the paper says needs confirming.
What people who use it report
The pairing is popular. Scientific American describes many people combining BPC-157 with TB-500 in the Wolverine stack. The Conversation names the two among the most-hyped peptides for injury recovery. The self-reports I found point in more than one direction:
- Relief for some. In a Florida clinic’s phone follow-up, three of the four knee-pain patients given BPC-157 with TB4 reported significant improvement Lee 2021 - Lee E, Padgett B. Intra-Articular Injection of BPC 157 for Multiple Types of Knee Pain. Altern Ther Health Med. 2021;27(4):8-13., in the references below. USC’s chief of sports medicine told NPR that patients he sees feel injectable peptides like these help them, while adding that they still need study.
- No effect for others. The fourth patient in that follow-up reported no relief.
- Side effects and worries. An analysis of more than 12,000 Reddit posts about BPC-157 and other peptides after injury or surgery found frequent concerns about side effects, purity and long-term safety. Some users described injection-site reactions, diarrhoea and emotional numbness Rosenberg 2026 - Rosenberg AE, Taylor B, Rasquinha RD et al. Injuries, Injections, and Internet Forums: A Qualitative Study of Reddit User Perspectives on Peptide Therapy After Orthopaedic Surgery. Sports Health. 2026;18(4):901-910., in the references below.
Fitness author Ben Greenfield wrote in May 2016 that he injected BPC-157 and credited it with healing golfer’s elbow. In a September 2024 article he gave the TB-500 dosing he said he had used as part of a recovery stack.
None of this can separate the stack from placebo, natural healing or other changes people made at the same time. A sports-medicine review notes that social media can amplify the placebo effect with peptides Mendias 2026 - Mendias CL, Awan TM. Safety and Efficacy of Approved and Unapproved Peptide Therapies for Musculoskeletal Injuries and Athletic Performance. Sports Med. 2026;56(8):1921-1935., in the references below.
Side effects and risks
No regulator has reviewed a contraindication list for either compound, alone or combined. I found no published human safety data on the pair at any dose: nothing on pregnancy, breastfeeding, children, drug interactions or use alongside a medical condition.
Material sold as a research chemical has no regulator check on purity, identity or concentration. A certificate of analysis confirms one batch, and it can’t show that your vial came from that batch. Two compounds on two schedules also add injection-site and dosing-error risk. Both are banned in sport at all times under the WADA Prohibited List.
Is the Wolverine stack legal?
Neither compound is FDA-approved in any form, and neither is legally marketed for human use in the US. Both are sold as research chemicals. Blending them, or running them as two vials, does not change either one’s status.
In July 2026 FDA’s compounding advisory committee narrowly voted to recommend adding both to the list pharmacies may compound from. FDA’s own staff opposed it (ABC News). The vote is not binding, and I found no final FDA decision as of 3 October 2026. In Australia both are Schedule 4 prescription-only medicines with no TGA approval (Healthy Male).

Common questions
What is the Wolverine stack?
A nickname for taking BPC-157 and TB-500 together. Both are unapproved research peptides, and the idea is that the pair speeds tissue recovery more than either alone. The name refers to the comic-book character's fast healing. It is a forum and marketing term, not a clinical protocol, and no regulator has evaluated it.
Has anyone studied BPC-157 and TB-500 together in humans?
I found no published human study of the combination. The closest is a retrospective chart review of 17 knee-pain patients, 4 of whom received BPC-157 with an agent the paper calls TB4. The paper gives no dose for either compound and does not say whether TB4 means the TB-500 fragment or full-length thymosin beta-4. That is not enough to build a dose or a safety picture on.
Does combining BPC-157 and TB-500 work better than either alone?
The only controlled evidence is one rat Achilles tendon study. It tested BPC-157 alone, TB-500 alone and the two together against untreated rats. The combined group did no better than TB-500 alone on any measure. The authors suggested the two peptides may act on the same pathway, a hypothesis from one small rat study.
What dose does the Wolverine stack use?
I found no study that sets a human dose for the pair. Two dosing sites describe a 20 mg blend vial (10 mg of each) mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water. One gives 0.5-2 mg of total blend a day, and the other 0.5 mg a day. That is common practice, not a trial-established dose. The charts on this page give the units.
What is in a 10 mg BPC-157/TB-500 blend?
5 mg of BPC-157 and 5 mg of TB-500 in one vial of powder. Core Peptides and NuScience Peptides both list this 5 mg/5 mg size. Two dosing sites describe mixing it with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water, so 10 units on a U-100 syringe holds 250 mcg of each peptide.
Why run BPC-157 and TB-500 as two vials instead of a blend?
Because the two follow different doses and schedules. The common protocols put BPC-157 at 250-500 mcg once or twice daily and TB-500 at 2-2.5 mg twice weekly, then weekly. A 1:1 blend can match only one of those doses. Separate vials let each run on its own schedule.
Can I take BPC-157 and TB-500 every day?
In common practice only BPC-157 is taken every day, at 250-500 mcg once or twice daily for 4-8 weeks. TB-500 is usually taken twice weekly during loading, then weekly. Pre-mixed blends are often drawn once a day, which puts TB-500 on a daily schedule at a much lower amount. I found no human trial of daily injections of either compound.
Are BPC-157 and TB-500 capsules as good as injections?
No study has compared them. I found no study of the pair taken by mouth, and FDA found no published human study of oral BPC-157. Rats given BPC-157 in drinking water healed ligament and tendon injuries better, but I found no oral study of TB-500 in any species. The common doses on this page are for injection.
How long does it take for BPC-157 and TB-500 to work?
I found no study that measured this in people. PeptidesExplorer, a dosing site, says users typically report early improvement within 1-2 weeks and clearer changes by weeks 3-4, and PeptIQ gives a similar week-by-week timeline. Those are uncontrolled reports that cannot separate the peptides from natural healing or placebo.
How much does the Wolverine stack cost?
Prices vary by seller, size and form. As of 3 October 2026, the three vendors I check listed Next Level Pharm's blend vial at $50.99 (10 mg), $75.99 (20 mg) or $88.99 (30 mg). BioEdge Research Labs listed its blend vial at $59 (5 mg/5 mg) or $110 (10 mg/10 mg), and 60 capsules at $149. Spartan Peptides listed one 5 mg vial of each at $259.20. All are sold for research use only. A price says nothing about what is in the vial, so check the seller's batch test results first.
Who should not use this stack?
No FDA-reviewed contraindication list exists for either compound, alone or combined. I found no human safety data on the pair at any dose. So anyone pregnant, breastfeeding, immunocompromised, on other medications or with a diagnosed medical condition has no regulator-reviewed information to weigh.
When should I stop and get medical care?
Get emergency care - call 911 in the US - for a severe allergic reaction, chest pain, a severe injection-site infection, or any symptom that feels dangerous. Call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 if you have taken an unknown or excessive amount of anything sold as BPC-157 or TB-500.
