CJC-1295 DAC and Ipamorelin Stack: Two Vials, Two Schedules
CJC-1295 DAC and ipamorelin stack: weekly DAC dosing paired with daily ipamorelin, per two independent sources, receptor rationale and risks.
The short version
CJC-1295 DAC and ipamorelin are two separate vials, not a blend. DAC is a long-acting, once-weekly GHRH-receptor analogue, and ipamorelin is a ghrelin-receptor agonist dosed daily. Two independent dosing sites describe pairing roughly 1-2 mg of CJC-1295 DAC once weekly with 100-200 mcg of ipamorelin one to three times daily. That is common practice, not a combination any trial has tested.
- CJC-1295 DAC is dosed about once weekly; ipamorelin is dosed daily. Two schedules, not one.
- Two independent dosing sites describe roughly 1-2 mg of DAC weekly plus 100-200 mcg of ipamorelin daily.
- No published human trial has tested CJC-1295 DAC and ipamorelin given together, at any dose.
- The two act on different receptors, GHRH and ghrelin. That is the mechanism argument for pairing, not a trial finding.
CJC-1295 DAC and ipamorelin are two separate research peptides run as two separate vials, not a blend. That differs from the more commonly discussed no-DAC CJC-1295 and ipamorelin pairing, which is usually dosed daily and sold pre-blended. This page covers how dosing sites describe combining DAC’s weekly schedule with ipamorelin’s daily one. For each compound alone, see the CJC-1295 DAC guide, the main CJC-1295 guide and the ipamorelin guide.
US legal status - Research use only
Neither CJC-1295 (in either form) nor ipamorelin has an FDA-approved product. Both are sold as research chemicals, not legally marketed for human use.
AU legal status - Not on the ARTG
Both are Schedule 4 of the Poisons Standard and named under Appendix D - prescription only, and neither is on the ARTG.
Regulators reach their own conclusions on their own timelines. Where these two disagree, the difference is the point - not an error.
The stack: a weekly DAC injection combined with a daily ipamorelin injection
Two independent dosing sites, fetched this session, describe the same combined shape.
- PeptIQ’s CJC-1295 and ipamorelin stack guide describes CJC-1295 DAC starting at 1 mg once weekly, up to 2 mg weekly. Ipamorelin goes alongside at 100-200 mcg per injection, one to three times a day in a fasted window. Its worked example is 1 mg of DAC on one day of the week plus 100 mcg of ipamorelin fasted in the morning and 100 mcg before bed daily. Cycles run 12-16 weeks on and 4-8 weeks off.
- PSPeptides’ DAC-vs-no-DAC guide independently describes CJC-1295 DAC at 1-2 mg per week, given once or split into two doses. Ipamorelin goes alongside at 100-300 mcg per administration, once to three times daily depending on the protocol. It describes protocols running 8-16 weeks, with an empty-stomach window around each injection.
The two sources agree on the core shape: 1-2 mg of DAC a week and 100-200 mcg of ipamorelin one to three times a day, both subcutaneous and fasted. A 12-16 week cycle sits inside both sources’ ranges.
They disagree on three points:
- Whether the weekly DAC amount is split into two injections.
- Whether ipamorelin goes as high as 300 mcg (only PSPeptides says so).
- The exact duration.
Neither site states that this weekly-plus-daily combination has been tested in a published human trial. Both frame their numbers as research-reference or educational content, not clinical evidence.
Units for each vial
CJC-1295 DAC and ipamorelin are drawn from separate vials on separate schedules. The tables below give injection units for three vials:
- A 5 mg CJC-1295 DAC vial, dosed weekly (the size PSPeptides uses in its worked example).
- A 2 mg CJC-1295 DAC vial, dosed weekly.
- A 5 mg ipamorelin vial, dosed daily.
CJC-1295 DAC 5 mg vial (weekly dose)
| Water added | Concentration | 1 unit = | 1 mg | 2 mg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mL water | 5 mg/mL | 50 mcg | 20 units | 40 units |
| 2 mL water | 2.5 mg/mL | 25 mcg | 40 units | 80 units |
| 3 mL water | 1.67 mg/mL | 16.67 mcg | 60 units | over 100 units |
Units on a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL), to the nearest half unit. 1-2 mg a week is the range the two dosing sources above describe for the DAC form.
CJC-1295 DAC 2 mg vial (weekly dose)
| Water added | Concentration | 1 unit = | 1 mg | 2 mg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mL water | 2 mg/mL | 20 mcg | 50 units | 100 units |
Units on a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL), to the nearest half unit. A 2 mg vial is also sold at this size - MyPeptideMatch's dosing protocol for it and Pure Bio Labs' 2 mg product listing, fetched this session, independently confirm the size; MyPeptideMatch reconstitutes it with 1 mL BAC water and describes the same 1-2 mg weekly range as the 5 mg vial above.
Ipamorelin 5 mg vial (per administration)
| Water added | Concentration | 1 unit = | 100 mcg | 200 mcg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mL water | 5 mg/mL | 50 mcg | 2 units | 4 units |
| 2 mL water | 2.5 mg/mL | 25 mcg | 4 units | 8 units |
| 3 mL water | 1.67 mg/mL | 16.67 mcg | 6 units | 12 units |
Units on a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL), to the nearest half unit. 100-200 mcg per administration is the range both dosing sources describe for ipamorelin in this stack (PSPeptides alone extends it to 300 mcg); both give a frequency of one to three times daily.
Why CJC-1295 DAC and ipamorelin are paired
The two compounds act on different receptors that both feed into a pituitary growth-hormone pulse. CJC-1295, in both its DAC and no-DAC forms, is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It acts on the pituitary’s GHRH receptor, the mechanism the published DAC pharmacokinetic trial describes Teichman 2006 - Teichman SL, Neale A, Lawrence B et al. Prolonged stimulation of growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor I secretion by CJC-1295, a long-acting analog of GH-releasing hormone, in healthy adults. J Clin Endocrinol Metab. 2006;91(3):799-805., in the references below.
Ipamorelin’s original characterisation reports it acting on a separate receptor, the GHRP receptor, later identified as the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a). This was seen in rat pituitary cells, rats and conscious swine Raun 1998 - Raun K, Hansen BS, Johansen NL et al. Ipamorelin, the first selective growth hormone secretagogue. Eur J Endocrinol. 1998;139(5):552-61., in the references below. It is animal and in vitro pharmacology, not a demonstrated pathway in humans.
Sources on GHRH/ghrelin pairings say that combining an analogue of one with an agonist of the other gives a larger growth-hormone pulse than either alone. They explain that the two receptors act through different steps. That is a mechanism argument built on preclinical pharmacology. It is not a trial finding for the DAC-plus-ipamorelin combination, in animals or humans. See the CJC-1295 DAC guide and the ipamorelin guide for each compound’s own evidence.
What no published trial has tested
CJC-1295 DAC’s only published human data comes from a randomised trial giving it alone, as single or repeated doses of 30 or 60 mcg/kg Teichman 2006 - Teichman SL, Neale A, Lawrence B et al. Prolonged stimulation of growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor I secretion by CJC-1295, a long-acting analog of GH-releasing hormone, in healthy adults. J Clin Endocrinol Metab. 2006;91(3):799-805., in the references below. That is a different dose unit and schedule from the milligram-range weekly practice above.
Ipamorelin’s two published human studies also gave it alone, by intravenous infusion rather than daily subcutaneous injection. Full detail is on the ipamorelin guide.
No published study has given CJC-1295 DAC and ipamorelin together, on any schedule. The weekly-plus-daily pattern above comes entirely from the two dosing sites cited, describing current practice. This page adds no claim of its own.
Side effects and risks
At the doses each trial tested, on its own, neither published study reported a serious adverse reaction attributed to the compound. That is not safety data for a weekly DAC injection run alongside a daily ipamorelin injection over months, which no published trial has examined. Injecting two vials on two schedules also multiplies injection-site and dosing-error risk compared with using one.
Is this stack legal?
Neither compound has FDA approval, in any form. Both are sold as research chemicals rather than legally marketed human drugs. Running two vials on two schedules does not change either compound’s individual regulatory status.
See each compound’s own page for jurisdiction-specific detail: CJC-1295 DAC, CJC-1295 and ipamorelin. For how US law treats research-use-only peptides generally, see research peptides and the law.
For where research-labelled peptides are sourced, see this site’s research-access page. It sends readers to a specific research-peptide supplier and discloses that relationship on that page.

Common questions
What is the usual CJC-1295 DAC and ipamorelin stack dosage?
Two independent dosing sites describe roughly 1-2 mg of CJC-1295 DAC by subcutaneous injection once weekly. They pair it with 100-200 mcg of ipamorelin by subcutaneous injection anywhere from once to three times daily, with a fasted pre-bed dose common to both. That is common practice reported by dosing sites, not a protocol any trial has tested as a combination.
Why pair CJC-1295 DAC with ipamorelin instead of the no-DAC form?
DAC and no-DAC are different molecules with different schedules. DAC binds circulating albumin and stays elevated for days, so sources describe it dosed roughly weekly. Ipamorelin is short-acting and paired with it daily to add a second, more frequent growth-hormone pulse on top of the sustained weekly baseline. Pairing no-DAC with ipamorelin, both dosed daily, is a separate and more commonly discussed combination; see that page below.
Are CJC-1295 DAC and ipamorelin sold as one blended vial?
Not typically. The two are dosed on different schedules, weekly for DAC and daily for ipamorelin, so dosing sites describe them as two separate vials. The no-DAC/ipamorelin pairing is different: both are dosed daily, and it is commonly sold pre-blended in one vial.
Has this combination been tested in a clinical trial?
No. CJC-1295 DAC has its own published human pharmacokinetic trial, and ipamorelin has its own separate published human studies. No published trial has given them together, at any dose or schedule. The combined weekly-plus-daily schedule comes from dosing sites describing current practice, not a controlled study.
How do I work out injection volume for each vial?
Each vial has its own concentration once reconstituted, and DAC and ipamorelin are drawn separately on separate schedules. That makes it arithmetic for two vials, not one. Use the dosage calculator for either vial rather than reusing a number from this page.
What are the side effects of this stack?
Neither published trial, for CJC-1295 DAC alone or for ipamorelin alone, reported a serious adverse reaction at the doses it tested. No published study has looked at the two given together on the weekly-plus-daily schedule dosing sites describe, so that combination has no dedicated human safety data.
