Retatrutide dosage calculator
Work out Retatrutide concentration, draw volume and U-100 syringe units. It starts on a 10 mg vial with 1 mL of water and 7 mg - which is 70 units - as an example; change any number.

Your vial
Printed on the vial. There is no standard size - enter what yours says.
This changes how much you draw - never how many doses the vial holds.
100 units per mL. 1 unit = 0.01 mL. This is what almost every insulin syringe sold is, in every barrel size.
Capacity only. A 1 mL U-100 syringe holds 100 units - the scale decides that, not the barrel.

Retatrutide dosing
The common Retatrutide protocol is 2-12 mg, once weekly, starting at 2 mg and titrating up every 4 weeks to a 4-12 mg maintenance dose - common practice, not trial-established. The evidence, side effects and where each figure comes from are on theRetatrutide dosage page.
Common questions
What size vials does Retatrutide come in?
Retatrutide is sold in 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg, 40 mg, 50 mg and 60 mg vials - each size listed by at least one vendor or label page I checked (see the vial pages linked below). This calculator starts on the 10 mg vial as an example; enter any size.
How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 10 mg Retatrutide vial?
There is no single correct amount: water changes how many units a dose is, not how many doses the vial holds. 1 mL makes 10 mg/mL. With 1 mL, 7 mg is 70 units (0.7 mL) on a U-100 insulin syringe.
How many units is 7 mg of Retatrutide?
It depends on the vial size and the water added. In a 10 mg vial mixed with 1 mL, 7 mg is 70 units (0.7 mL) on a U-100 syringe (100 units = 1 mL).
How many doses are in a Retatrutide vial?
A 5 mg vial holds 0 doses of 7 mg; A 10 mg vial holds 1 doses of 7 mg; A 20 mg vial holds 2 doses of 7 mg; A 30 mg vial holds 4 doses of 7 mg; A 40 mg vial holds 5 doses of 7 mg; A 50 mg vial holds 7 doses of 7 mg; A 60 mg vial holds 8 doses of 7 mg. Adding more water does not change this.
What is the common Retatrutide dose?
The common protocol is 2-12 mg, once weekly, starting at 2 mg and titrating up every 4 weeks to a 4-12 mg maintenance dose - common practice described by clinic and vendor dosing guides, not a dose established in trials.
Is Retatrutide legal and approved?
US status: Research use only. Not FDA-approved for any indication. FDA states plainly that retatrutide cannot be used in compounding under federal law, because it is not a component of an FDA-approved drug and has not been found safe and effective for any condition, and it has warned telehealth companies, API distributors and outsourcing facilities specifically over unapproved retatrutide. Eli Lilly (the trial sponsor) has reported topline results from its Phase 3 obesity trials (one Phase 3 diabetes trial, TRANSCEND-T2D-1, is published) and, as reported in August 2026, plans to submit a biologics license application to FDA in the first quarter of 2027.
