Amino Asylum Review: Is It Legit? Which Site, FDA Record, COAs

Is Amino Asylum legit? Five live sites use the name. The "official" one names no owners or lab and showed no COAs on pages I opened. FDA and DOJ records checked.

The short version

aminoasylumofficial.com, the site that calls itself the official Amino Asylum, breaks its own promises. It says its leaders and lab partners are named and every product page has a COA. It names no one, names no lab, and the two product pages I opened showed no COA. Its account of the founders pleading guilty points to a federal case about a different company, Paradigm Peptides. I found no FDA warning letter naming Amino Asylum. At least five live sites use the name; I checked this one on 3 October 2026.

  • At least five live websites use the Amino Asylum name. This review checks aminoasylumofficial.com, which calls itself the only authorized domain.
  • Its About page promises every decision-maker is "publicly named", then names no one. Its lab-testing page names no laboratory.
  • The BPC-157 and hCG product pages I opened showed no certificate of analysis, though the site says every batch's COA is on its product page.
  • It says the original founders pleaded guilty in December 2025. The federal case of the two people it names concerns Paradigm Peptides.
  • FDA's warning-letter index has no letter naming Amino Asylum as of 3 October 2026, though the site says FDA sent several.

aminoasylumofficial.com, the site that calls itself the official Amino Asylum, does not meet its own promises. It says its leaders and lab partners are named and that every product page carries a COA. I found no names and no lab anywhere on the site, and no COA on the two product pages I opened.

Its account of the original founders’ guilty pleas points to a federal case about a different company. I found no FDA warning letter naming Amino Asylum.

At least five live websites use the Amino Asylum name, so the first question is which one you mean. I ran my peptide vendor checklist against aminoasylumofficial.com on 3 October 2026. Facts below apply to that domain unless I say otherwise.

Which Amino Asylum site?

On 3 October 2026, five live sites used the name in their page titles: aminoasylumofficial.com, aminoasylums.net, aminoasylumhealth.com, aminoassylum.com and aminoasylums.shop. Three other domains did not show an Amino Asylum store:

  • aminoasylumllc.com, live in my September check, did not respond.
  • aminoasylum.com redirected to a parked page carrying a tracking token.
  • aminoasylum.shop, a domain Finnrick lists under the name, redirected to a “Coming Soon” page on another domain.

aminoasylumofficial.com calls itself “the only authorized domain under our ownership” and says other sites using the name are fake. I could not confirm which of these sites, if any, share an operator.

FDA record

I searched FDA’s warning-letter index, which can be filtered by company name, on 3 October 2026. No warning letter naming Amino Asylum appears under the name or either domain I tried. The same search returns nothing for a company FDA has never examined, so it is not a clean bill of health.

The site itself says FDA did act. Its About page says “The FDA issued multiple warning letters to Amino Asylum prior to the June 2025 enforcement action.” I found none under that name in FDA’s index. Research peptides and US law explains what a “research use only” label does and doesn’t mean.

The site’s account of the shutdown

The About page says the original Amino Asylum did not adequately address FDA warning letters, sold products of inconsistent purity and used marketing that “routinely implied personal use outcomes”. It says a raid in June 2025 took the site offline, leaving customers without orders or refunds. It says “Our investment group acquired the brand following the 2025 enforcement action.”

Third-party blogs and forums describe the same raid. I could not confirm it on fda.gov or justice.gov.

The site’s FDA compliance page goes further. It says the original founders “pleaded guilty to federal charges in December 2025” and names two people. The Justice Department’s case page for those two defendants describes a different business, Paradigm Peptides (paradigmpeptides.com), and does not mention Amino Asylum. I found no public record linking that case to Amino Asylum. My Paradigm Peptides review covers the case.

Testing and COAs

The homepage says “Every compound in the Amino Asylum catalog is independently tested by accredited third-party analytical laboratories” and sets a baseline of “≥98% purity verified by HPLC analysis”. It says the COA for every batch is on the product page, “organized by lot number”. The compliance page adds that results appear “with the laboratory name, date of testing, and specific purity findings”.

The product pages I checked don’t match that. The BPC-157 and hCG pages I opened on 3 October 2026 carry no certificate, no lot number and no lab name.

The lab-testing page says the company partners “exclusively with accredited analytical laboratories” without naming one. It lists identity confirmation, concentration accuracy and contaminant screening, and names a method (HPLC) only for purity. I found no sterility or endotoxin test.

The same page lists red flags for a fake COA, including “No laboratory name or a name that cannot be found independently”. The site’s fake-sites page says “A COA with no laboratory name is not a COA.” How to read a peptide COA covers what a real one shows.

Named owners

The About page says: “Every person making decisions at Amino Asylum is publicly named on this page.” The “Our Leadership Team” section under it lists no names. The homepage repeats “Our leadership team is publicly named” and “Our laboratory partners are identified”. I found neither on 3 October 2026, the same result as my 27 September check.

Is Amino Asylum’s hCG legit?

hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) is a prescription drug in the US. The label for Novarel, one approved brand, is marked “Rx only”. aminoasylumofficial.com lists “HCG 5000iu” as a research peptide, labelled for laboratory research only. Its product page showed no certificate of analysis when I checked.

The site’s compliance page lists “Carrying prescription-only medications alongside research compounds without authorization” among the original company’s violations. It then says “None of these practices exist under new ownership.” My hCG guide covers what the approved drug is used for.

Finnrick’s independent tests

Finnrick lists 15 tests of products sold as Amino Asylum, across 8 peptides, the latest on 16 March 2025. Seven passed its standard (purity of 99.5% or more, dose within 35%), for a 62% rating, 381st of 457 vendors. Tirzepatide (77%) and retatrutide (76%) scored highest, and CJC-1295 (27%) lowest.

That listing shows the domains somachems.com and aminoasylum.shop, not aminoasylumofficial.com. Every test predates the June 2025 raid the site describes, so the results say nothing about what aminoasylumofficial.com ships today. The site’s own lab page cites a Finnrick average of 5.7 out of 10 for “pre-raid Amino Asylum products”.

Where is Amino Asylum located?

aminoasylumofficial.com publishes no street address. Its Contact Us page lists a phone number, (559) 569-4663, and an email address, [email protected]. The homepage calls it “a US-based supplier”. Its own refund policy leaves the return address as unfilled template text.

Payments, shipping and returns

I found no page listing accepted payment methods. The refund policy describes card and PayPal refunds.

The shipping policy says orders placed before 12:00 PM Eastern on a business day are usually processed the same day, and all orders within 1 to 2 business days. US delivery takes 5 to 7 business days standard, 2 to 3 expedited, or the next business day for priority overnight.

The Refund and Returns Policy, effective May 2026, replaces the dead link I found in September. It promises a full refund or replacement for:

  • wrong, damaged or missing items
  • parcels the carrier confirms lost
  • products that your own independent testing shows are “materially different from our published COA”

Unopened products returned within 14 days for a change of mind get store credit or an exchange, not a refund. The policy still contains unfilled template text: besides the return address, three time limits are placeholders.

Dosing and disease claims

The pages I read describe the products as “research peptides, SARMs, pro hormones, and research chemicals for laboratory use only”. I found no dosing instructions or disease claims. The hCG listing raises a separate question, covered above.

Common questions

Is Amino Asylum legit?

It depends which site you mean, because at least five live websites use the name. The one that calls itself official, aminoasylumofficial.com, fails its own transparency promises. It names no owners and no testing lab, and the two product pages I opened had no COA. It also sells hCG, a prescription drug in the US, as a research peptide. I found no FDA warning letter naming Amino Asylum as of 3 October 2026.

What happened to Amino Asylum?

aminoasylumofficial.com says the original Amino Asylum was shut down after an FDA enforcement action, a warehouse raid in June 2025, and that an investment group then bought the brand. Third-party blogs and forums tell the same story. I could not confirm the raid on fda.gov or justice.gov. The site also says the original founders pleaded guilty in December 2025. The Justice Department case of the two people it names concerns a different business, Paradigm Peptides.

Is Amino Asylum back?

A site at aminoasylumofficial.com says it has operated under new ownership since the 2025 shutdown and calls itself "the only authorized domain". I could not verify that. On 3 October 2026, four other live sites also used the Amino Asylum name in their page titles, and aminoasylum.com redirected to a parked page.

Does Amino Asylum test its products?

aminoasylumofficial.com says every compound is "independently tested by accredited third-party analytical laboratories", with a baseline of "≥98% purity verified by HPLC analysis". It says COAs are published by lot on product pages. It names no laboratory, and the BPC-157 and hCG product pages I opened showed no COA. Finnrick's independent tests of products sold under the name, from early 2025, passed 7 of 15.

What is Amino Asylum's return policy?

aminoasylumofficial.com now has a Refund and Returns Policy, effective May 2026. It promises a full refund or replacement for wrong, damaged, missing or lost orders, and for products that independent testing shows do not match the published COA. Unopened products returned within 14 days for a change of mind get store credit or an exchange only. The policy still contains unfilled template text, including the return shipping address.

Does Peptide Decode recommend Amino Asylum?

No. This page does not rate, rank or recommend Amino Asylum, under any domain, or any other vendor. It reports sourced facts against a published checklist so you can judge a specific website yourself.
