BPC-157 and TB-500 are different molecules with different research behind them, though marketing often blurs them into a single healing stack. Neither has an approved human therapy package, so compare structure, evidence and legal status separately.

BPC-157 in one paragraph

TB-500 in one paragraph

TB-500 is not thymosin beta-4. It is a short acetylated fragment. Much of the “proof” people paste under TB-500 is literature on the 43-aa protein - the wrong molecule for the vial on the table.

Limited human data

Small or uncontrolled human studies. Too little to settle the question either way. Extensive preclinical work; human clinical package insufficient for approval per recent review language; one historical human RCT context exists in the wider literature but is not a modern efficacy program.

TB-500

Animal / lab only

Studied in cells or animals. No controlled trials in humans. Fragment frequently confused with full-length Tβ4; no published human RCT of the heptapeptide for tissue-repair indications located.
