Peptide Sciences Review: Is It Legit? Shut Down in 2026

Is Peptide Sciences legit? It shut down in 2026. Its COAs named no outside lab, Finnrick passed 79 of 132 samples, and sites using its name are not affiliated.

The short version

Peptide Sciences, the store at peptidesciences.com, has shut down. Its homepage says it voluntarily stopped selling, and that any site claiming to sell its products is not affiliated with it. While it traded, I found no FDA warning letter naming it. Its certificates carried lot numbers but were its own documents, naming no outside lab. The independent tester Finnrick passed 79 of the 132 samples it tested. I checked its live and archived pages, FDA records, Finnrick and the BBB on 3 October 2026.

  • peptidesciences.com shows only a shutdown notice (checked 3 October 2026). The first archived copy with it is dated 8 March 2026.
  • I found no FDA warning letter naming Peptide Sciences.
  • Its certificates named no outside lab. The BPC-157 one on its site in July 2025 came from an HPLC run in December 2023.
  • Finnrick passed 79 of the 132 Peptide Sciences samples it tested, a 61% rating that ranks it 385th of 457 vendors.
  • The company says any site selling under its name is unauthorized. Two BBB complaints from June and July 2026 describe orders under its name that never arrived.

Peptide Sciences no longer sells anything. Its homepage says it has “voluntarily shut down operations”, and that any site claiming to be its successor or to sell its products has no affiliation with it.

While it traded, I found no FDA warning letter naming it. Its certificates carried lot numbers but named no outside lab, and the independent tester Finnrick passed 79 of the 132 samples it tested.

On 3 October 2026 I checked the live site and archived copies of its old pages against my vendor checklist. I also checked FDA records, Finnrick and the BBB. There is no star rating or score.

What happened to Peptide Sciences?

It closed. On 3 October 2026 the homepage showed one notice:

“After careful consideration, Peptide Sciences has decided to voluntarily shut down operations and discontinue the sale of its research products.”

The Internet Archive dates the change. Its copy from 3 January 2026 shows the full store, and its copy from 8 March 2026 shows the shutdown notice. The live notice now adds that the company keeps its name and trademarks.

The notice gives no reason. I found no FDA warning letter naming Peptide Sciences, and a search of justice.gov found no Justice Department press release about it. Reasons offered on other websites are not confirmed by the company or a regulator.

What Peptide Sciences was

Peptide Sciences sold research peptides from peptidesciences.com, a domain registered in December 2009. Its January 2026 homepage listed single peptides such as BPC-157 and TB-500, blends, capsules, bioregulators and topical cosmetic peptides.

Its About page called it “a leading provider of USA manufactured, research peptides”. Its footer said: “Peptide Sciences is a chemical supplier. Peptide Sciences is not a compounding pharmacy or chemical compounding facility as defined under 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic act.”

Certificates of analysis

Each product page had COA, HPLC and MS tabs. On the BPC-157 5 mg page, archived on 23 July 2025, they showed three images for lot VIM220231204-5:

  • The certificate: on Peptide Sciences letterhead. It reports 98.8% purity by HPLC against a specification of more than 98%, a molecular weight of 1419.80 by mass spectrometry, and an assay of 89.4%. It is signed off under “Quality Control”, names no outside lab and carries no test date.
  • The HPLC trace: acquisition time 7 December 2023. The certificate on the page in July 2025 came from a run more than 18 months earlier.

The homepage promised more: “99%+ Purity Guaranteed!”, with testing “in our analytical laboratory” by HPLC and mass spectrometry. An in-house certificate can’t be looked up on a testing lab’s own site, which is the strongest check a buyer has. How to read a peptide COA explains what to match.

Finnrick’s independent tests

Finnrick publishes its own lab results for samples it buys or receives. Its Peptide Sciences page lists 132 tests across 10 peptides, from May 2025 to July 2026. Of those, 79 passed its standard (purity of 99.5% or more, dose within 35%), for a 61% rating, 385th of 457 vendors.

Ratings ranged from 89% for GHK-Cu to 20% for CJC-1295. Finnrick says its retatrutide, CJC-1295, tesamorelin and tirzepatide results showed “identity failures, purity misses, and large fill swings”.

Eight of the tests are dated after the first archived copy of the shutdown notice, the latest on 20 July 2026. The page doesn’t say when, or from which site, those samples were bought.

Where was Peptide Sciences located?

The store gave mailing addresses, and they changed:

  • September 2025: “P-Sciences, 110 SE 6th St #1797, Ft. Lauderdale, FL”. Davinci Virtual sells virtual-office mailing addresses in the same building.
  • January 2026: “P-Sciences, 2255 Glades Rd., Suite 324A, Boca Raton, FL”. Davinci Virtual offers that exact suite as a virtual office with an assigned mailbox.
  • BBB and Finnrick: both list Henderson, Nevada. The BBB profile was opened on 7 July 2026, after the store had closed.

Many small online sellers use a mailing address, so this proves nothing by itself. It does mean none of these addresses shows where the company worked. I found no named owner on any archived page.

Payment, shipping and returns

The customer-service page said Peptide Sciences accepted “all major credit cards”, which card issuers let you dispute. Its terms also allowed ACH bank payments, made payable to P-Sciences, Inc. It shipped by USPS and FedEx.

It took no returns. Its refunds page said: “Due to our rigorous quality control standards and the fragile nature of our products, we cannot accept returns.”

It replaced orders that were shipped wrong.

Sites using the Peptide Sciences name

The live notice says that “any website, platform, entity, or individual” doing any of the following “is unauthorized, fraudulent, and has no affiliation with our company”:

  • “claiming affiliation with Peptide Sciences”
  • “representing themselves as a successor to Peptide Sciences”
  • “claiming to sell our products”

Two BBB complaints say orders were still being taken under the name months after the closure. Both come from earlier customers who paid for a new order by Apple Cash and received nothing. One says the seller then asked for $200 in “mail insurance” before it would ship.

Both complaints are unanswered, and I could not tell which site took the orders. Finnrick’s summary of its paid report on the vendor also describes “a post-shutdown P-Sciences lookalike”.

Similar names belong to other businesses. peptide-biosciences.com describes itself as a UK seller called Peptide Biosciences. peptidesciences.net is the site of a company calling itself Hongkong Peptide Sciences. Customer reviews of those sites are not reviews of Peptide Sciences.

Which peptide company has shut down?

Peptide Sciences is one: archived copies of its homepage show it closed by March 2026. My vendor list keeps a section on vendors that have closed or changed hands, including Paradigm Peptides. I add one only when an official record or the company’s own site confirms it.

How to check a peptide vendor

I don’t rank vendors or name a “most reputable” one. Peptide Sciences shows four checks worth making on any seller:

  1. Who ran the test? A certificate on the seller’s own letterhead can’t be confirmed with a lab. Look for a named lab whose site lets you look the certificate up.
  2. When was it run? A lot number is not enough if the test is years old.
  3. Are there independent results? Testers such as Finnrick publish results from samples they buy.
  4. Is it the real domain? Since the closure, peptidesciences.com carries only the company’s notice, so any other site selling under the name is not Peptide Sciences.

My vendor checklist has all 14 checks. Research peptides and US law explains what a research-only label does and doesn’t mean.

Common questions

Is Peptide Sciences legit?

It was a real, long-running store, and it has now closed. The domain peptidesciences.com was registered in 2009, and its homepage now says the company has voluntarily shut down. I found no FDA warning letter naming it. Its own certificates named no outside testing lab. The independent tester Finnrick passed 79 of the 132 samples it tested, a 61% rating. By the company's own notice, a site selling under its name today is not Peptide Sciences.

Is Peptide Sciences coming back?

Nothing says so. On 3 October 2026 the homepage still showed only the shutdown notice. The notice says the company keeps its name and trademarks, and that anyone presenting themselves as its successor is unauthorized. I found no announcement of a reopening.

Are other websites selling Peptide Sciences products?

Not with the company's permission. Its notice names three claims: affiliation with Peptide Sciences, being its successor, and selling its products. It says any website or person making them "is unauthorized, fraudulent, and has no affiliation with our company". Two BBB complaints, filed in June and July 2026, describe orders placed under the name, paid by Apple Cash and never delivered. Sites with similar names, such as peptide-biosciences.com and peptidesciences.net, are separate businesses.

Did Peptide Sciences test its peptides?

It said it did. Its homepage claimed HPLC and mass spectrometry testing "in our analytical laboratory". The BPC-157 certificate I opened, lot VIM220231204-5, was on Peptide Sciences letterhead. It reported 98.8% purity by HPLC and a molecular weight by mass spectrometry, and named no outside lab. The HPLC trace for that lot was run on 7 December 2023.

What is the Peptide Sciences BBB rating?

F, as of 3 October 2026. The BBB profile lists a Henderson, Nevada address and was opened on 7 July 2026, after the store had closed. Its reasons for the rating are failure to respond to 2 complaints and the length of time the business has been operating. Both complaints, filed in June and July 2026, describe orders paid by Apple Cash that never arrived.

Did Peptide Sciences make its peptides in the USA?

It said its products were "manufactured in the USA". Its About page also said it worked with "WHO/GMP and ISO 9001:2015 approved manufacturers". It said it made its products "through the most reputable research chemical manufacturing companies in the world". It named no manufacturer, and its certificates name none, so I could not check where any batch was made.

Does Peptide Decode recommend Peptide Sciences?

No. Peptide Sciences no longer sells anything, and this page does not rate or recommend any vendor. Peptide Decode's research-access pages send readers to a different supplier, Spartan Peptides. Nobody connected to Peptide Sciences paid for, commissioned or saw this review.
