SwissChems Review: Is It Legit? FDA Letter, Lab Reports, Returns
Is SwissChems legit? It has a December 2024 FDA warning letter and now names its testing labs. Address, owner, Finnrick tests, payments and returns checked.
The short version
SwissChems (swisschems.is) has an FDA warning letter on its record, dated 10 December 2024, over semaglutide and retatrutide sold as research chemicals. Its site now names its testing labs and posts lot-numbered lab reports, some hosted on the lab's own website. It names no owner, a virtual-office company sells addresses at its listed New York office, and the independent tester Finnrick passed 4 of its 10 samples. I checked its pages, FDA's records and Finnrick on 3 October 2026.
- FDA sent SwissChems a warning letter on 10 December 2024 over semaglutide and retatrutide sold as research chemicals. FDA lists no close-out letter.
- Its FAQ names Janoshik Analytical as its main lab, and its test-results page links lot-numbered certificates from Freedom Diagnostics Testing.
- Finnrick passed 4 of 10 SwissChems samples, a 47% rating that ranks it 447th of 457 vendors (checked 3 October 2026).
- No owner is named, and a virtual-office company sells addresses at its New York office. It takes Mastercard and Visa but puts anyone who files a chargeback on a no-sell list.
- Peptides can't be returned. Unopened SARMs, PCT compounds and MEPs can, within 7 business days; a cash refund loses a 15% restocking fee and a $25 fee.
SwissChems has an FDA warning letter on its record and publishes lab reports that name the labs that ran them. The letter, dated 10 December 2024, covers its semaglutide and retatrutide listings. The reports carry lot numbers, and some load from the testing lab’s own website. Against that, it names no owner and a virtual-office company sells addresses at its listed New York office. The independent tester Finnrick passed 4 of its 10 samples.
I checked SwissChems’ own pages against my vendor checklist, searched FDA’s warning-letter index and read Finnrick’s results, all on 3 October 2026. There is no star rating. The checklist explains why a score implies a precision nobody in this market has earned.

FDA warning letter
SwissChems received FDA warning letter MARCS-CMS 695663, dated 10 December 2024. FDA reviewed swisschems.is and the company’s Facebook and Instagram accounts, and found semaglutide and retatrutide offered for sale in the US. Semaglutide is the active ingredient in approved GLP-1 drugs, and retatrutide is an investigational drug. Neither is approved in the “research chemical” form sold here.
The products were labelled “research chemicals only”. FDA said the site’s own wording showed they were meant as drugs for people. It cited references to “peer-reviewed studies” and a description of retatrutide as “a promising anti-obesity agent”. FDA treats that as introducing unapproved new drugs into interstate commerce, which the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act prohibits.
Lab reports and testing
SwissChems now publishes its lab reports. Its Independent Test Results page lists 92 reports by product and test date. The BPC-157 capsule product page links reports for lots J26AYBPC and J26HGBPC, both dated 23 September 2026. Its FAQ says batches go to accredited third-party labs, “principally Janoshik Analytical”.
The newest reports I opened are certificates from Freedom Diagnostics Testing, and the test-results page links copies hosted on that lab’s own domain. Each gives a lot number, received and reported dates, and identity confirmed by LC-MS (mass spectrometry). The NAD+ certificate (lot 2607EDNA) also reports 99.89% purity by HPLC. The capsule certificates report content per capsule instead, and none of the 4 I opened reports a sterility or endotoxin test.
Two details:
- The two BPC-157 capsule certificates name the client as “IMT”, not SwissChems. The NAD+ and enclomiphene certificates name “Swiss Chems”.
- Those capsule certificates report 0.59 mg and 0.64 mg in a capsule labelled 0.5 mg, which is 118% and 128% of the label. SwissChems’ FAQ sets its standard at 90% to 110% for a batch, and about 85% to 115% for a single capsule.
The quality-assurance page adds a “≥99% purity” guarantee “for all products where specified” and says a lot-specific COA is available on request. It says every batch is tested by “validated analytical methods (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR or equivalent)”. How to read a peptide COA covers what to match on a certificate before you trust it.
Finnrick’s independent tests
Finnrick sources vendors’ products and sends them to third-party labs. It lists 10 SwissChems tests across 3 peptides, the latest on 28 April 2026. Four passed its standard (purity of 99.5% or more, dose within 35%), for a 47% rating, 447th of 457 vendors. Finnrick says CJC-1295 “has repeated severe purity misses and underfills”, while ipamorelin and BPC-157 tested better. These are Finnrick’s methods and numbers, separate from SwissChems’ own certificates.
Where is SwissChems located?
SwissChems’ contact page says: “Our offices are at 42 Broadway, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10004. Orders ship from our US fulfillment facility.” FDA addressed its 2024 warning letter to the same address. The page also lists an email address and a US phone number, +1 (870) 533-5581.
Alliance Virtual Offices sells virtual-office plans at 42 Broadway, 12th Floor. The address may be a rented business address rather than premises SwissChems occupies. I could not confirm which. The fulfillment facility’s location is not given.
Its About page says it was “founded in 2018” and is “based in USA”, and its Who We Are page repeats both.
A US International Trade Commission notice on Eli Lilly’s tirzepatide complaint points to Hong Kong. It says the complaint was amended on 21 May 2024 to add “Singularity Marketing Limited (d/b/a Swiss Chems) of Hong Kong, China” as a respondent. The notice gives no website or outcome for that respondent, so I can’t confirm it is the business behind swisschems.is.
No owner, founder or officer is named on any page I checked.
What does SwissChems sell?
Its shop menu lists SARMs, peptides, bioregulators, nootropics, powders and bundles. Peptides come as freeze-dried powder in vials, and some, such as BPC-157, also come as capsules. Every page carries the footer line “Not for human consumption”.
How long does SwissChems take to deliver?
Per its shipping page and FAQ, US orders paid before 12 PM Eastern on a business day ship the same day. Delivery estimates from dispatch:
- USPS flat rate (US): 3 to 5 business days
- USPS free shipping (US): 5 to 7 business days
- FedEx overnight or 2-day (US, eligible addresses): 1 or 2 business days
- USPS international: 2 to 3 weeks, or 1 to 2 weeks to Canada
Processing starts when payment is received, not when the order is placed. If a parcel goes missing after the carrier marks it delivered, SwissChems offers a 30% discount as compensation, not a reship or refund.
Is SwissChems legal?
SwissChems sells its products as research chemicals and tells buyers to check each compound’s legal status where they live. FDA’s 2024 letter found that its semaglutide and retatrutide products were unapproved new drugs despite that label. A “research use only” label does not make a product legal to sell for human use. Research peptides and US law explains where the line sits.
Payments and chargebacks
The payments page lists three options:
- Mastercard and Visa, for US-issued cards
- Bank and wallet transfers through 4Square: Plaid ACH, Zelle, Interac and Coinbase
- Seven cryptocurrencies through NowPayments, which it calls “the preferred method for international orders”
Cards carry chargeback rights; bank transfers and crypto usually don’t. The FAQ treats chargebacks as “potential fraud events” and says customers who file one are added to its no-sell list. It asks buyers to contact support before disputing a charge. That request does not change what your card issuer owes you.
Returns
The Refund and Return Policy accepts unopened, sealed SARMs, PCT compounds and MEPs within 7 business days of delivery. It says “Peptides cannot be returned”, in any form. The buyer pays return shipping.
Store credit is offered first. A refund to the original payment method loses a 15% restocking fee per item and a $25 processing fee. Per the shipping page, missing, wrong or damaged items are reshipped free if reported with photos within 7 business days.
Dosing and disease claims
SwissChems’ FAQ says its products “are not for human or animal consumption, and we cannot discuss, advise on, or respond to inquiries regarding use, dosing, administration, or outcomes of any kind.” The BPC-157 product page says “Any form of bodily introduction into humans or animals is strictly prohibited by law.” I found no disease-cure language on the pages I checked. FDA’s 2024 letter read the marketing on two listings the other way, as described above.
Independent reviews
Several third-party review pages about SwissChems that I found in September disclose affiliate links to it. SwissChems’ FAQ says its affiliate programme pays a 20% commission on each sale. A reviewer paid per sale is not the independent kind of review the checklist describes, so look for a disclosure before trusting one.

Common questions
Is SwissChems legit?
SwissChems has an FDA warning letter on its record, dated 10 December 2024, over its semaglutide and retatrutide listings, and FDA lists no close-out letter. In its favour, its lab reports now name the testing labs and carry lot numbers. Against it, the site names no owner and a virtual-office company sells addresses at its New York office. Finnrick passed 4 of its 10 samples, and the FAQ says customers who file a chargeback go on a no-sell list. The scorecard on this page lists each point with its source.
Has SwissChems had FDA trouble?
Yes. On 10 December 2024, FDA sent SwissChems a warning letter (MARCS-CMS 695663) after reviewing swisschems.is. FDA found that, despite a "research chemicals only" label, the site marketed semaglutide and retatrutide as drugs for human use. As of 3 October 2026, FDA's warning-letter index shows no close-out letter and no other letter naming SwissChems.
Does SwissChems provide certificates of analysis?
Yes. Its Independent Test Results page lists 92 lab reports, and product pages link the report for each lot. The recent reports I opened are certificates from Freedom Diagnostics Testing, loaded from that lab's own website, with identity confirmed by LC-MS. Its FAQ says its main testing lab is Janoshik Analytical.
Does SwissChems give dosing instructions?
No. Its FAQ states its products "are not for human or animal consumption, and we cannot discuss, advise on, or respond to inquiries regarding use, dosing, administration, or outcomes of any kind." Its product pages carry research-use-only wording rather than a dose.
What is SwissChems' return policy?
Its Refund and Return Policy accepts unopened, sealed SARMs, PCT compounds and MEPs within 7 business days of delivery. Peptides cannot be returned in any form. The buyer pays return shipping, and store credit is offered first. A refund to the original payment method loses a 15% restocking fee per item and a $25 processing fee. Missing, wrong or damaged items are reshipped free if reported with photos within 7 business days.
Is this review paid for or affiliated with SwissChems?
No. Peptide Decode has no affiliate or commercial relationship with SwissChems, and SwissChems did not pay for or see this page before it was published. The site's research-access page sends readers to a different supplier, Spartan Peptides.
