Eloralintide Dosage: Phase 2 Trial Doses
Eloralintide dosage: the doses its one published phase 2 trial used. No commercial product, no FDA approval, no common-practice protocol found.
The short version
Eloralintide has no dose outside its own clinical trials, because it is not a commercial product anywhere. Its one published phase 2 trial tested fixed weekly doses of 1, 3, 6 and 9 mg, plus two step-up titration schedules, over 48 weeks. Every research-market page I checked states it has no separate common-practice protocol, so this page reports only the trial doses.
- Phase 2 trial doses: 1, 3, 6 or 9 mg once weekly (fixed), or step-up titrations to 9 mg, over 48 weeks.
- No common-practice protocol exists in real sources. Two vendor-side pages checked both say so.
- Eloralintide is not commercially available anywhere; only clinical trial enrollment provides the real compound.
- Reconstitution and injection-volume math belongs on a calculator, not a guess.

US legal status - Unapproved drug
Investigational only, in Eli Lilly's clinical trial pipeline. Not approved by the FDA and not commercially available anywhere.
Eloralintide dosage: no common protocol found
Common protocol
No consistent protocol in circulation. Eloralintide is Eli Lilly's investigational, patent-protected amylin receptor agonist, still in clinical trials and not commercially available anywhere. Every research-peptide vendor and dosing-guide page I fetched (getpeptidewise.com, peptiq.io, peptideuniv.com) explicitly states it has no community or clinical-practice protocol distinct from Lilly's own phase 2 trial arms, and warns against treating those trial doses as consumer dosing. With no two real sources describing a usable common-practice protocol, this page reports only the published phase 2 trial doses, on the dosing page, not a common protocol.
I checked several research-peptide vendor and dosing-guide pages. Each states it documents only Lilly’s phase 2 trial arms, not a separate community or clinical-practice protocol. One describes its article as being for “trial literacy,” not “a green light for unsupervised use.” No two real sources describe a usable common-practice protocol, so none is reported here.
Doses used in the phase 2 trial
A 48-week, multicentre, double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial Billings 2025 - Billings LK, Hsia S, Bays H et al. Eloralintide, a selective amylin receptor agonist for the treatment of obesity: a 48-week phase 2, multicentre, double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial. Lancet. 2025;406(10520):2631-2643., in the references below in 263 adults with obesity or overweight tested:
| Arm | Dose | Schedule |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed dose | 1 mg | Once weekly, subcutaneous |
| Fixed dose | 3 mg | Once weekly, subcutaneous |
| Fixed dose | 6 mg | Once weekly, subcutaneous |
| Fixed dose | 9 mg | Once weekly, subcutaneous |
| Titration | 6→9 mg | Once weekly, subcutaneous, step-up |
| Titration | 3→6→9 mg | Once weekly, subcutaneous, step-up |
All arms ran for 48 weeks. The 9 mg dose produced the largest mean weight reduction (up to 20.1%) against 0.4% on placebo. These are trial-protocol doses assigned to monitored participants, not a recommendation for anyone outside the trial.
How to reconstitute eloralintide
This page cannot know a specific vial’s diluent volume or resulting concentration, and no legitimate vial of the real compound exists outside a clinical trial. The dosage calculator works through reconstitution arithmetic generally. It does not choose or endorse a dose.
What is not established
- No FDA-approved dose exists, because no product exists to review.
- No common-practice protocol exists in real sources. Every source checked disclaims one.
- Long-term safety beyond 48 weeks has not been studied in any published trial.
Who should not use it
No FDA-reviewed contraindication list exists. The published trial excluded participants with significant medical conditions under close monitoring. That shows who the study considered eligible. It is not a safety clearance for anyone else. Nobody should self-direct an unregulated compound around a current medical condition, medication or pregnancy.
Eloralintide side effects and risks
The published trial reported mild-to-moderate gastrointestinal adverse events as the most common finding, at an incidence similar to placebo in lower-dose arms. That is one 48-week trial in a monitored population. It says nothing about longer-term use, and no verified content or purity exists for anything sold outside it.

Common questions
What is the usual eloralintide dose?
There is no usual dose, because eloralintide is not sold as a product anywhere. I checked several research-peptide vendor and dosing-guide pages. Each states it has no community or clinical-practice protocol separate from Lilly's own phase 2 trial arms, so no common protocol is reported below.
What doses did eloralintide's phase 2 trial use?
The trial tested fixed weekly doses of 1 mg, 3 mg, 6 mg and 9 mg, and two step-up titration schedules (6→9 mg and 3→6→9 mg). All were given by subcutaneous injection over 48 weeks, to adults with obesity or overweight under clinical supervision.
Is there an FDA-approved eloralintide dose?
No. Eloralintide has no FDA-approved product and is not commercially available anywhere. The doses above are one published trial's study design, not an approved or recommended dose for anyone outside it.
Can I buy eloralintide to try these doses?
No legitimate source sells the actual trial compound. The only way to receive real eloralintide is to enrol in one of Eli Lilly's clinical trials. A vial marketed to consumers under this name is not the trial product and has no verified identity, purity or source.
What are the main risks?
Over 48 weeks, the published trial reported mild-to-moderate gastrointestinal adverse events as the most common finding, at an incidence similar to placebo in lower-dose arms. There is no long-term human safety data beyond that trial window, and no verified content or purity for anything sold outside it.
