Epitalon Dosage Chart and Calculator: Protocol and Cycle Length
Epitalon dosage chart: units per dose by vial size for the 5-10 mg common protocol, a calculator, and cycle length. No published human study reports a dose.
The short version
No published human trial of Epitalon reports a dose. The lab work behind the telomere claim treated cultured human cells, so it gives a concentration in a dish, not a dose given to an animal or a person. Clinic and vendor dosing guides commonly describe 5-10 mg by subcutaneous injection once nightly, for a 10-20 day cycle with a 4-6 month break between courses. That is common practice, not a dose any trial or regulator has established.
- No published human trial of Epitalon reports a dose, at any amount, for any use.
- Clinic and vendor guides commonly describe 5-10 mg nightly for 10-20 days, with a 4-6 month break. This is common practice, not trial-established.
- The telomere study used cultured cells, not a dosed animal, so there is no milligram figure to report from it.
- The dosed animal studies gave mice 0.1-1 microgram per injection. That is an animal dose and does not scale to a person.
- This page does not transcribe doses from the Russian-language literature behind the compound, for the reason the main guide gives.
No published human study of Epitalon reports a dose. The laboratory work behind its main selling point was never designed to establish one. This page sets out what the evidence contains, gives the protocol clinic and vendor guides commonly describe, and explains why none of it adds up to a trial-established dose. Background on the compound, its evidence base and its legal status is on the main Epitalon guide.

Epitalon dosage: the common protocol
Clinic and vendor dosing guides most often describe 5-10 mg of Epitalon by subcutaneous injection, once nightly, for a 10-20 day cycle, with a 4-6 month break before repeating. This is common practice, not a dose any trial or regulator has established.
Common protocol
What is commonly used, not a dose established in trials. No regulator has set a dose for Epitalon. Sources differ, so the ranges below span them.
- Dose per administration
- 5-10 mg
- How often
- once nightly, every night, for the length of the cycle
- Route
- Subcutaneous injection
- Cycle length
- 1.4-2.9 weeks
- Break between cycles
- 17-26 weeks
- Common vial size
- 50 mg
- Timing
- Before bed, at least two hours after the last meal.
- Commonly paired with
- GHK-Cu
Sources differ on cycle length (a fixed 10 days versus a 10-20 day range) and break length (4 months minimum versus 4-6 months), so both are treated as a span rather than a single figure.
Plan a cycle in the protocol builder or work out injection volume in the dosage calculator.
The common Epitalon dose is 5-10 mg, once nightly, every night, for the length of the cycle. From a 50 mg vial mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water, 7.5 mg is 30 units (0.3 mL) on a U-100 insulin syringe.

No human study, so no human dose
The main guide’s count stands: 142 PubMed records, one tagged as a clinical trial, zero randomised controlled trials. None of that record states a dose given to a human being. This page has no human number to report, and no regulator has reviewed Epitalon for any use.
The one recent finding is a cell-culture concentration, not a dose
The 2025 result the marketing leans on treated cultured human cell lines with Epitalon and measured telomere length afterward Al-Dulaimi 2025 - Al-Dulaimi S, Thomas R, Matta S et al. Epitalon increases telomere length in human cell lines through telomerase upregulation or ALT activity. Biogerontology. 2025;26(5):178., in the references below. The lines were breast-cancer lines and normal epithelial and fibroblast cells.
The abstract describes the effect as dose-dependent within that dish. But a concentration applied to cells in a laboratory is not the same measurement as a milligram amount given to a whole animal. The paper does not try to state one. A 2025 review of the molecule’s broader biology covers its proposed mechanisms without adding a dosed-animal figure of its own Araj 2025 - Araj SK, Brzezik J, Mądra-Gackowska K et al. Overview of Epitalon-Highly Bioactive Pineal Tetrapeptide with Promising Properties. Int J Mol Sci. 2025;26(6)., in the references below.
Doses used in animal studies
Where a published study gives an animal dose, this site reports it as an animal dose. Two English-language mouse studies with fetchable abstracts do:
| Study | Animals | Route | Dose | Course |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lifespan study Anisimov 2003 - Anisimov VN, Khavinson VKh, Popovich IG et al. Effect of Epitalon on biomarkers of aging, life span and spontaneous tumor incidence in female Swiss-derived SHR mice. Biogerontology. 2003;4(4):193-202., in the references below | Female mice, 54 per group | Subcutaneous | 1.0 microgram per mouse (about 30-40 micrograms/kg) | 5 consecutive days every month, from 3 months of age until natural death |
| Spontaneous-tumour study Kossoy 2006 - Kossoy G, Anisimov VN, Ben-Hur H et al. Effect of the synthetic pineal peptide epitalon on spontaneous carcinogenesis in female C3H/He mice. In Vivo. 2006;20(2):253-7., in the references below | One-year-old female mice | Injection | 0.1 microgram | 5 times a week for 6.5 months |
In the lifespan study Epitalon did not change food consumption, body weight or mean lifespan. The authors wrote that the data suggest long-term use is safe in mice Anisimov 2003 - Anisimov VN, Khavinson VKh, Popovich IG et al. Effect of Epitalon on biomarkers of aging, life span and spontaneous tumor incidence in female Swiss-derived SHR mice. Biogerontology. 2003;4(4):193-202., in the references below. The 2006 study reported no toxic effects Kossoy 2006 - Kossoy G, Anisimov VN, Ben-Hur H et al. Effect of the synthetic pineal peptide epitalon on spontaneous carcinogenesis in female C3H/He mice. In Vivo. 2006;20(2):253-7., in the references below. These are microgram amounts in mice, and there is no accepted way to turn them into a human dose.
Much of the wider literature is published only in Russian. The main Epitalon guide explains why this page does not transcribe numbers from it. It comes from a single research tradition and has not been independently replicated outside it. This site also cannot check it the way it checks an English-language paper with a fetchable abstract.
What is not established
- No published human dose, frequency or duration, at any amount, for any claimed use.
- No human-relevant animal dose. The dosed animal studies gave mice microgram amounts on intermittent schedules, which do not scale to a human protocol.
- No approved product, so there is no label to defer to.
- The common protocol above is current practice, not a trial finding. It comes from clinic and vendor dosing guides, each recorded as a source, not from a human trial or a regulator.
How to reconstitute Epitalon
Working out how many milligrams end up in a given syringe mark for a stated vial size and diluent volume is arithmetic, not a dosing recommendation. Use the dosage calculator for it. The tool does the maths for any number you enter but does not choose a dose. The dosage chart on this page gives units for the common protocol by vial size. That protocol is common practice, not trial-established.
Who should not use it, the risks, and when to stop
Epitalon is sold as a research chemical, so no regulator checks that a vial matches its label. A third-party COA can confirm a batch’s identity and purity, but not that your vial came from it or that it is sterile.
With no published human dose and no established human half-life, there is no research-backed basis for a safe amount, frequency or duration. No clinical safety monitoring has ever been done. Anyone with a known peptide hypersensitivity, anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, and anyone using an unregulated vial in place of an evaluation by a licensed prescriber should not use it.

Common questions
What is the usual Epitalon dose?
Clinic and vendor dosing guides most often describe 5-10 mg of Epitalon by subcutaneous injection, once nightly, for a 10-20 day cycle. A 4-6 month break follows before repeating, typically one to three cycles a year. That is common practice reported by clinic and vendor pages, not a dose established by any human trial or regulator. No published human study of Epitalon reports a dose at all.
What dose did the telomere study actually use?
The 2025 telomere study treated cultured breast-cell lines and normal epithelial and fibroblast cells with Epitalon in a laboratory dish. It reported a dose-dependent effect on telomere length. That is a concentration applied to cells in culture, not a dose given to a whole animal or a person. The abstract gives no milligram-per-kilogram figure that could be scaled to either.
Is there an animal dose I can look at instead?
Yes, in mice. A 2003 lifespan study injected female mice under the skin with 1.0 microgram of Epitalon per mouse (about 30-40 micrograms per kilogram). The injections ran on five consecutive days every month, from 3 months of age until natural death. A 2006 study injected 0.1 microgram five times a week for 6.5 months. Both are animal doses. There is no accepted way to scale them into a human protocol, and neither study was designed to find one.
Can I use a vendor or forum protocol instead?
The common protocol above is exactly that. It comes from clinic and vendor dosing guides, each recorded as a source, not from a controlled human trial. Treat it as common practice, not evidence. No regulator has reviewed or approved it, and sources differ on the exact cycle and break length.
Does the reconstitution math change any of this?
No. Reconstitution is arithmetic about a specific vial and diluent, not a dosing decision. The dosage calculator does that math for any number you enter but does not choose a dose. The dosage chart on this page gives units for the common protocol by vial size. That protocol is common practice, not trial-established.
