How to buy gonadorelin legally
US status: No FDA-approved human gonadorelin is on the market: Factrel and Lutrepulse are both discontinued, and the current gonadorelin labels are veterinary drugs for cattle.
Prescription needed? Yes, for any lawful human route: compounded gonadorelin is dispensed only on a patient-specific prescription (503A) or to a practitioner (503B).

Can you buy gonadorelin legally?
Only as a compounded drug on a prescription, because no approved human product is marketed. FDA called a research seller's 'Gonadorelin' an unapproved new drug in June 2026.
Is gonadorelin FDA approved?
It was, twice: Factrel in 1982 and Lutrepulse in 1989. Drugs@FDA lists both as discontinued, and the gonadorelin labels on DailyMed today are veterinary drugs for cattle.
How much does gonadorelin cost?
As of 3 October 2026: Regen Doctors $220 one-time or $209 every 2 months for a 100 mcg/mL compounded injection; The HCG Institute $595 for a 10-week supply at 100 mcg twice weekly; FYRE Body $50 for a vial it says lasts 5 months, sold as a TRT add-on. Regen Doctors and The HCG Institute include the consultation.
Does gonadorelin increase testicle size?
No published human trial has tested low-dose gonadorelin alongside TRT for testicular size or fertility. Continuous or too-frequent dosing desensitises the GnRH receptor and can suppress LH and FSH.
Gonadorelin vs hCG: what is the difference?
hCG has current FDA-approved uses and gonadorelin does not. Neither has been tested with TRT in a controlled trial for keeping testicular function.
